High Scoring Game Leaves Molalla Indians Overtaken By Seaside     (Loss)  0-1

 

Molalla Indians out-hit Seaside eight to seven, but it wasn’t enough in a 9-7 loss on Wednesday

 

Molalla Indians collected eight hits and Seaside had seven in the high-scoring affair.

 

Seaside took an early lead in the first inning. A sacrifice bunt by Asher Landweir scored two runs for Seaside.

 

After Molalla Indians scored one run in the top of the third, Seaside answered with one of their own.

 

Molalla Indians scored when Linden Mackenzie singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

 

Seaside then answered when Kolten Jordan induced Brayden Johnson to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

 

Seaside took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning.

 

Mathew Roark started the game for Molalla Indians. He went two innings, allowing four runs on two hits. Jordan threw four innings out of the bullpen. Molalla Indians totaled eight hits. Jeff Larsen, Braden Hibbs, and Mackenzie each managed multiple hits for Molalla Indians.  Mackenzie, Hibbs, and Larsen all had two hits to lead Molalla.

Molalla Indians Walks Away Victorious Over Scio in High-Scoring Game

13-6 (Win)  1-1

 

Bats were blistered as Molalla Indians defeated Scio 13-6 on Thursday.

 

Scio fired up the offense in the first inning with a walk an scoring 1 run.

 

After Molalla Indians scored two runs in the top of the sixth, Scio answered with two of their own.

 

Molalla Indians scored when Braden Hibbs singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

 

Scio then answered when Ron Spring singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

 

Molalla Indians pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning.

 

In the fourth Brandon Palmer doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, Jeff Larsen singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, and Linden Mackenzie's sac fly scored one run for Molalla Indians.

Palmer was the winning pitcher for Molalla Indians. He allowed four hits and two runs over five innings, striking out seven.

 

Larsen went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Molalla Indians in hits. Molalla Indians stole 16 bases during the game as six players stole more than one. Damian Pingo led the way with three.

Molalla Indians Defeats Cottage Grove in Low-Scoring Affair     (Win)  2-1

 

Both teams were strong on the mound Friday, but Molalla Indians defeated Cottage Grove 2-1. Damian Pingo allowed just two hits to Cottage Grove.

 

Molalla Indians got things moving in the first inning. Pingo grounded out, scoring one run.

 

Pingo led the Molalla Indians to victory on the pitcher's mound. He allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out five. took the loss for Cottage Grove. He surrendered two runs on two John Lotts took the loss giving up 6 hits over five innings, striking out four.

 

Linden Mackenzie and Jeff Larsen all had one hit to lead Molalla Indians.

4-Hit Day for Hibbs As Molalla Indians Skirts Past Stayton     (Win 3-1)

 

Braden Hibbs had a busy day at the plate on Monday, smacking four hits in Molalla Indians's 17-6 victory over Stayton. Hibbs singled in the first, doubled in the third, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.

 

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Molalla Indians collected 16 hits and Stayton six in the high-scoring affair.

 

Molalla Indians got on the board in the first inning. Kolten Jordan was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

 

Molalla Indians put up seven runs in the third inning. Damian Pingo, Brandon Palmer, Aj Deardorff, Jeff Larsen, Hibbs, and Pingo each had RBIs in the big inning.
